Elephant Trunk Nebula

Elephant Trunk Nebula (also known as IC 1396) in the constellation of Cepheus. A cloud of interstellar dust and gas glows from the ionization of a luminous blue star in its center. Stars are forming in the darker regions of this cloud and it is about 3000 light years away from earth.
